Bio
I am Elisabeth Charlotte Wagner, and I was born in Berlin, on December 5, 1915. I am currently 22 years old. I am tall for a girl, thin, and have blonde hair that bleaches in the sun during the summers.

I currently live at home with my mother here in Berlin, in the Friedrichshain neighborhood, on Gubener Strasse.

I attended Gymnasium school after my primary education, where I learned both English and French. My mother wanted me to take Latin, but I didn't think it was very useful. I also took math, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, arts, music, physical education, divinity, history and social sciences. At 19 I took the Abitur, and recieved my Allgemeine Hochschulreife certificate, which enabled me to go straight to University. I currently attend Universität unter den Linden, where I am studying Literature. It is a great honour for me to attend University, something that I have only been able to do thanks to my high scores on the Abitur and the support of my Mother and my Onkel Max.

My favourite films are Der Berg ruft!, Mädchen für alles, Die Tochter des Samurai, and particularly Das Mädchen Johanna . My favourite film stars are Zarah Leander, Olga Tschechowa, and Lil Dagover.

I love opera and classical music, especially Wagner, though I have always been disappointed that he has no relation to my family.

I have been a member of the Bund Deutscher Mädel (League of German Girls) since I was 16, in the summer of 1934. I currently hold the position of Untergaufuehrerinnen.

My mother is Frau Clara Osten Wagner, born in Burglengenfeld, in Bavaria. Her parents Deiter and Maria Osten, were shopkeepers there. My mother moved to Berlin when she was 17 to become a maid, when she met my father.

My father, Hans Anton Wagner, was born here in Berlin, to my grandparents Max and Liesel Wagner. My Grandfather Wagner was a doctor. Father died in the war, at the Western Front in 1917, three months before I was born.

My Onkel Max, Father's brother, lives here in Berlin. He and Mother and I all live together since he has no wife and children of his own. He is a strange man, but I have heard it said that he had a hard war. Onkel Max is a doctor, but he was the oldest son so I think Grandfather Wagner expected it of him. He is very kind and charitable to Mother and me.
